A house like no other
Ideally located in the heart of the Algarve, 25 minutes from Faro airport and close to the fishing villages of Olhão and Tavira, La Caroube offers you a unique experience in an atypical house.
La Caroube has become our family home, where we like to meet and spend time together. The configuration of the living spaces also allows everyone to be autonomous and independent.

Our story
Love at first sight
From the first visit, we fell in love with this authentic house with its special atmosphere.
We made some improvements, mainly in the kitchen and the upper terrace, using local materials.
La Caroube has been fitted out according to our tastes while keeping the original spirit of the designer of the “troglodyte house”. Some of the furniture is original, such as the large mosaic coffee table in the living room.
We stay very regularly at La Caroube and will be very happy to welcome you.
Like the rest of the house, nothing is straight: everything is a story of curves and authentic imperfections.
The spaces
Living at La Caroube
La Caroube can accommodate 10 to 12 people with 4 rooms with private access from the outside, a studio for 2 people and a double room located on the rooftop of the house (La Tour).

The high terrace
Its aperitif area, its large table for 12 guests and its barbecue area equipped with a pizza oven: the outdoor gathering place everyone loves.
The terrace “au serpent”
In summer, we usually have breakfast there, in the shade of the large carob tree.
The pool
A lounge area where you can have a drink on the edge of the white sundeck, with your feet in the water.
Staying
By the week, Saturday to Saturday
From €3,800 to €5,500 depending on the season — cleaning, linen and pizza-oven wood included.
